We can arrange a doctors appointment at a time that’s convenient to you – fast access to a GP can bring additional peace of mind and unlike appointments at many surgeries, you’re not limited to a 10-minute time slot and can call the Saga GP Service as many times as you like.

Message a Doctor – if you have a general health query you can use the service to message a doctor, including an image. The doctor will respond to your email address the next working day.

Order private prescriptions direct to your door – if appropriate, any private prescription offered via the Saga GP Service can be fulfilled and delivered to your door so you don’t have to leave the house if you're feeling unwell.

Book video consultations with an experienced doctor – speak face-to-face with a GP via your webcam or smartphone. Appointments are available to book 8am-10pm Monday to Friday, 8am to 8pm Saturday and 8am to 6pm Sunday.

Request an appointment – go online to request your appointment and we will send you an email with the next available appointment within 4 hours, usually much sooner.

Get an open referral to a specialist – If you need further tests or advice, either your GP or our Saga GP Service can give you an open referral to a private specialist if necessary.
