Saga Landlord Insurance is changing

Saga has partnered with Uinsure to provide wide-ranging Landlord Insurance that's Defaqto 5 Star rated and full of reassuring cover to protect both you and your property.

All landlord policies dating from 1 October 2024 are provided by Uinsure. Based on when you bought your cover, refer to the relevant section for more information about your policy.

For policies with a start date or renewal date on or before 30 September 2024

My policy is due for renewal with RSA – what will happen next?

Around 3-4 weeks before your renewal, you’ll receive a renewal letter about our new Landlord Insurance, provided by Uinsure. We’ll pass your policy information and contact details to Uinsure so they can prepare the quote.

If you don't want us to to pass your details to Uinsure, please let us know as soon as possible.

How do I make changes to my policy?

If you need to make an immediate change to your existing cover, call Saga on 0800 027 1355, open Monday to Friday from 8.30am-7pm and Saturday from 9am-3pm.

There is no admin charge to make a change to your policy. If relevant, we'll pass the information to Uinsure to make sure you get an accurate quote on your landlord cover when it's time to renew.

If you need to make a change to your Saga policy shortly before it's due to end, you should also tell Uinsure about the change so your renewal quote can be updated.

Where can I find my policy documents?

As a Saga Landlord Insurance customer, you can view your policy documents and update contact preferences in your MySaga account.

You can set up a MySaga account easily with the email address you used when getting your quote and creating a password.

Where can I find my Saga Landlord insurance policy book?

You can view or download your Saga Landlord Insurance policy books. These relate to policies purchased/renewed on or before 30 September 2024.

How do I make a claim?

In the event of a claim, firstly please check your policy documents to make sure that you are covered for the type of claim. Then call RSA as soon as you can, so your claim can be dealt with straightaway on 0800 027 1357.

At Saga, we aim to offer a quick, straightforward and stress-free service. Our claims lines are open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Our claims process is simple with no need to complete any forms in most cases.

For legal protection claims please call 0800 302 9012, open 24 hours a day 365 days a year.

For home emergency claims please call 0800 092 1426, open 24 hours a day 365 days a year.

How do I cancel my cover?

If you want to cancel your policy, you can call Saga on 0800 027 1355, open Monday to Friday from 8.30am-7pm and Saturday from 9am-3pm.

You may be entitled to a refund for the time remaining on your policy, provided that no claim has been made during the current policy year.

How do I make a claim?

Before you make a claim, please look at your policy documents to make sure you’re covered for the event in question.

You will find the claims telephone number(s) within your policy documents. Lines are open 24 hours a day.

You can get the claims process started using the online contact form and someone from the claims team will get in touch with you.

For legal protection and/or rent guarantee claims please call 0330 912 8861, open Monday to Friday from 9am-5pm.

For Landlords Emergency Cover claims please call 0330 174 9579, open 24 hours a day 365 days a year.

How do I make changes to my policy?

It’s simple to make any changes to your policy. Just get in touch with the Uinsure customer service team on 0344 844 3844. They are available Monday to Friday from 9am-5pm.

There is no admin charge just to make a change to your policy.

How do I cancel my cover?

If you want to cancel your policy, please contact the Uinsure customer service team on 0344 844 3844. Lines are open Monday to Friday from 9am-5pm.

There is no cancellation fee and you will get a full refund if you cancel within 14 days of your policy starting.

You can cancel at any other time if you've not made a claim on the policy and nothing has happened that could lead to a claim. You will be entitled to a partial refund of any premium based on the remaining time left on your policy.

You will not receive any refund if you've made a claim or something has happened that could lead to a claim. And there are no refunds for optional extras such as Home Emergency or Legal Protection after the first 14 days of your policy.
